When a loved one dies, we are swept away by loss. We can feel engulfed by sadness, loneliness and heartbreak, and often cannot imagine how to go on. These feelings of overwhelming sorrow can be magnified during the holiday season. Hospice of the Valley and Banner Sun Health Research Institute are offering an in-person presentation to help you cultivate strength and cope with challenges you never imagined. You will learn to recognize the uniqueness of grief during the holidays; healthy coping mechanisms for grief; and supportive ways to help you and loved ones navigate the journey of loss during the holiday season. This presentation is designed to support any adult in the community who is grieving. You don’t need to face this difficult time alone. We are here for you.
Speaker: Nicole Fratiglioni, MSN-L, RN-BC, CHPN Nicole is a Clinical Resource Educator at Hospice of the Valley. During her 16 years at the agency, she has worked in its Inpatient Units, After Hours and Homecare departments. She has her master’s in Nursing with an emphasis in Leadership in Health Care. Hospice and palliative care have long been her passion. She lives for times with her family (husband, also a hospice nurse, and daughter), doing yard work, crafting, taking walks with their three dogs, watching sports or playing games together.
