4/5/2025 | West-MEC’s Northeast Campus is hosting the West-MEC Auto Skills Challenge on Saturday, April 5, where West-MEC auto students will be pitted against each other in a competition that puts their automotive skills to the test. The competition starts at 9:00 a.m. The Skills Challenge is an annual event where students compete and have fun. The students who place in the top three in the challenge (first and second-year students have separate competitions) will earn prizes, such as a toolset or toolbox. This event wouldn’t be possible without help from West-MEC sponsors who give their time judging and donating money and the prizes winning students receive. The sponsors of this event include:
“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to provide our students with fun opportunities to challenge their skills, have a friendly competition against their peers and have a chance to meet industry professionals,” said Northeast Campus Automotive Technology Instructor Randy Golding.
