GCC 60th Anniversary and Community Celebration
Students, alumni, employees, and the community are invited to take part in creating a fun and festive anniversary celebration that honors our past, celebrates our vibrant present, and looks toward the bright future of GCC Gauchos. There will be activities presented by our Career and Technical Education and Academic Programs for those exploring enrollment options at GCC.

West-MEC’s Northeast Campus is hosting the West-MEC Auto Skills Challenge on Saturday, April 5, where West-MEC auto students will be pitted against each other in a competition that puts their automotive skills to the test. The competition starts at 9:00 a.m.The Skills Challenge is an annual event where students compete and have fun. The students who place in the top three in the challenge (first and second-year students have separate competitions) will earn prizes, such as a toolset or toolbox.
This event wouldn’t be possible without help from West-MEC sponsors who give their time judging and donating money and the prizes winning students receive. The sponsors of this event include:
