Join us for fun oral health activities for the kids! Children’s Museum of Phoenix and Delta Dental of Arizona have partnered to bring oral health programming to the Museum for the month of February – National Children’s Dental Health Month.Oral health programming and activities are free with paid Museum admission. Children under the age of 1 are free as are members of the Children’s Museum of Phoenix.
Featured programs include:
- The Great Arizona Puppet Theater: Back again this year, the theatre will be performing several fun oral health-themed puppet shows.
- The Great Flossini Presents “The Totally Tooth-Ular Magic Show.”
- From First Tooth to Loose Tooth: Q&A sessions with dental students from A.T. Still University.
In addition to these featured programs, daily hands-on activities range from art projects to teaching proper brushing and flossing techniques, crafts to create tooth-saver necklaces, educational opportunities in the KIDchen and The Children’s Garden to learn about the healthy foods you can eat that help your teeth stay healthy, plus cool programs about the teeth of various animals. Back by popular demand are "Smile Bags" containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and fun facts about dental health. These free giveaways will be available daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to all visitors throughout the month, including for field trip visitors. PHOENIX — December 22, 2022 — Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix, Arizona’s largest water park, today announced a partnership with Coca-Cola for the 2023 season. To kick off the partnership Six Flags will host a Tailgate Party at Hurricane Harbor Phoenix on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will feature live music, gaming and a plethora of tailgating activities for the entire family. While the park’s water features will not be open due to the chilly weather, Special Olympics Arizona will host a Polar Plunge, and a portion of each ticket sale will benefit the beloved local non-profit.“Our goal is to continually enhance the experience of our loyal Six Flags guests,” said Donald Spiller, General Manager of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix. “We’re delighted to offer Coca-Cola at the park for our 2023 season and invite guests to celebrate this new partnership at our February tailgating extravaganza.”
The Six Flags Hurricane Harbor/Coca-Cola tailgate party will include:
- Live music from local artists and DJs
- Food trucks and in-park beverages for the classic tailgating culinary experience
- A Mobile esports Gaming Truck – an enormous 80-foot long, 35-ton semi-tractor trailer that transforms into a competition stage and broadcast truck allowing guests to test their skills and compete in mini esports tournaments with state-of-the-art equipment
- Inflatables and games for all ages like cornhole, quarterback toss, field goal kick, obstacle course, a face painting station and more
- Athlete Appearances
- Pep Rally with Arizona Element Elite cheerleaders and Special Olympics Arizona’s Cheer Squad. gold medal winners at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games
- Polar Plunge with Special Olympics Arizona
“Fans can quench their thirst with a refreshing Coca-Cola beverage and flex their skills in a variety of fun pop-up challenges, enjoy delicious food, great live music and even choose to brave the chilly February water for a polar plunge to show support for Special Olympics Arizona,” said Rachel Chahal, Director, Amusement Partnerships for The Coca-Cola Company.
