Join us Saturday, April 6th from 3pm to 6pm and immerse yourself in a celebration of creative aging, supporting local artists and fostering philanthropy and community well-being. This unique fundraising event will be held at the Ground Floor Artists gallery located at 13343 W Foxfire Dr #3, Surprise, AZ 85378.
“It's not just an event, it's a journey through the colorful memories of aging and reminiscence brought to life. Picture this,” states Benevilla President and CEO Joanne Thomson, “Our dynamic Life Enrichment Day Program members teaming up with Ground Floor's incredible artisans creating works of art that dazzle the senses. Together, we're turning memories into magic. I hope everyone can join us to leave a brushstroke of kindness painting our community brighter than ever before.”
The event highlights include a live painting spectacle where you will experience the magic of talented artists transforming blank canvases into captivating masterpieces connecting you in a personal way to each piece of artwork. There will be a themed exhibit and painted chair competition where you can explore the diversity of the local art scene talent and be captivated by one-of-a-kind pieces from members of both Ground Floor Artists and the Benevilla Life Enrichment programs.
There will also be a creative networking zone where you can engage with the artists in a casual and interactive setting. Learn about their inspirations, their techniques and the stories and memories behind their creations. Both Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available to enjoy delectable snacks and cocktails while perusing the exhibits and mingling with fellow art enthusiasts. There will also be several scrumptious mobile eats options on-site.
The evening will be capped off with an exhilarating live art auction where you can bid on artwork you witnessed being brought to life allowing you to take home a favorite piece of the evening’s magic.
Tickets are now available online at Benevilla.org/ground_floor_artists_fundraiser. Advanced purchases are just $35 before April 6th and the day of event tickets are $40.
